2025 National Retreat 40th Anniversary EOHSJ Australia

Friday 30 May 9am - Monday 2 June 5pm, 2025 AWST

Celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, Perth WA Chapter. Join us for a weekend of reflection, fellowship, and celebration in honour of the Order's foundation in Australia. The event will run from Friday, 30th May to Monday, 2nd June 2025, welcoming members from across Oceania.

It is with great joy and profound gratitude that I extend my warmest congratulations to the members of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem in Australia as we celebrate the 40th anniversary of our establishment. This milestone marks four decades of dedication, faith, and commitment to the sacred mission that binds us together in service to the Church and the people of the Holy Land.

The journey of the Order in Australia has been a tapestry woven with threads of devotion, compassion, and unwavering support for the Christian community in Jerusalem. Our endeavours have been blessed by the tireless efforts of our knights and dames, whose love for the Holy Sepulchre and the land of Our Lord has propelled us towards achieving significant milestones in aid and spiritual solidarity.

As the Archbishop of Western Australia and the Grand Prior of the Lieutenancy, I have witnessed the remarkable growth and impact our Order has had on both local and international communities. The spirit of our mission transcends borders, uniting hearts and minds in pursuit of justice, peace, and the preservation of our sacred heritage.

This anniversary is not just a celebration of our past achievements, but a reaffirmation of our commitment to the future. It is a call to all members to renew their vows of service, to continue to uphold the values and traditions of our Order, and to look forward with hope and determination towards the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

May this commemorative programme serve as a reminder of our shared purpose and inspire us to deepen our faith, strengthen our bonds, and expand our outreach. Together, we shall forge a path of light and love, guiding others towards the eternal truth and grace that emanate from the Holy Sepulchre.

In the spirit of unity and devotion, let us celebrate this 40th anniversary with pride and humility, always mindful of the divine providence that has guided our steps. May God bless the Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem in Australia, and may He continue to bless our noble mission.

In Christ's love,

Archbishop of Perth Western Australia
Grand Prior of the Lieutenancy
