This is the official site of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, Western Australia Perth Lieutenancy.
The order is a historic order of Christian chivalry dedicated to deepening the faith of its members, supporting the Church's works in the Holy Land, and promoting the Christian presence under the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem.
As the sole lay organisation of the Catholic Church with this mission, our Knights and Dames are vital in sustaining the Christian community and ensuring a lasting presence in these sacred places.

The House Was Filled with the Fragrance of the Perfume: A Spirituality of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre
In his book on the spirituality of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, the Grand Master of the Order, Cardinal Fernando Filoni, reflects on the life, the beliefs, the values, and the choices of a Knight and Dame.
This book will help current members of the Order in deepening their faith journey. It will serve as an introduction to the Order for Catholics interested in our mission for caring for the peoples and places in the Holy Land.
KNIGHTS PRAYER
O Lord Jesus Christ,
For your five wounds that we carry
on our insignia, we pray to You
Give us the strength to love all
whom your Father has created and, more so our enemies.
Free our hearts and souls from sin, from
partiality, from egoism and from cowardice, so that we can be worthy of Your sacrifice.
Let your Spirit fall upon us all, the Knights and Dames of the Holy Sepulchre, so that it may render us as convinced and sincere ambassadors of peace and love among our brothers and sisters, and, especially, among all those who do not believe in You.
Give us Faith to face all the problems of everyday life and to deserve one day to approach Your presence, humbly but without fear.
We make this prayer through You in union with the Father and the Spirit, one God for ever and ever. Amen.
